Under official licence.

Produced by Jardins du Roi Soleil — the only manufacturer authorised by the Établissement Public du Château de Versailles — each planter is made entirely by hand in France using local cast iron and solid French oak. The licence is held exclusively; the craftsmanship is uncompromised.

Two noble materials. One enduring form.

Four removable oak panels, seasoned and jointed with traditional cabinetmaking precision, are set within a cast-iron frame of octagonal corner posts, decorative ring details, and signature ball finials. The planter stands on four cast-iron ball feet, elevating it for correct drainage and the characteristic stance of the original.

Made to order

Every Caisse de Versailles is made to order in France and finished in your chosen colour from the Jardins du Roi Soleil palette, or in any bespoke RAL or Farrow & Ball shade. A dual-system paint process achieves a precise finish across both cast iron and oak in a single, unified colour.

Specifications — 700mm

External dimension: 700mm × 700mm

Overall height including feet and finials: approx. 970mm

Materials: local French cast iron · solid French oak

Lead time: 8–12 weeks from confirmed order

Available in six sizes from 500mm to 1200mm.
