Comfortable, light and robust, Ericeira chair was created with the local accommodation in mind (homestays, lodges, guesthouses and b&b) influenced by the tradition of Ericeira's fishermen who rented their own houses to the tourists who came to the village in the summer months.
The cross-frame, with the same thickness of the legs, gives it the necessary resistance without losing the aesthetic simplicity.
The cut of the legs, together with the curvature of the plate, makes the seat slightly raised in relation to the structure, inspired by the lines and the tenuous curvature of the surfboards on the top of the waves at the beaches of Ericeira, the surf capital of Portugal and World Surfing Reserve.

We can only provide weekday delivery dates for the standard shipping service. On some products you can alternatively book a 2-Man White Glove delivery service at checkout. The additional white glove service will also include unboxing of the item and rubbish removal if requested (we advise to keep the original packaging in case of any damages found after delivery). If you need your delivery to go higher than the ground floor please select the White Glove Delivery option so that the correct service level is noted on your order.

Whilst we love to match every price that you find online, we can only match prices that don't result in a financial loss for us. Their story began in 1964 with two brothers working together in a small joinery workshop in the north of Portugal. Through the years, that workshop grew and became the company "Móveis Carlos Alfredo" which is specialised in manufacturing & exporting solid wood furniture for more than five decades.
The brand Wewood - Portuguese Joinery was founded in 2012, by the second generation of owners of that same company, after four years of hard work to raise a design house proud of its heritage and grounded in the principles of quality of the materials, durable construction and timeless design.
Unwavering passion for creating a product of excellence
